QUETTA: Families of those killed in Tuesday’s blast near pilgrims’ bus in Mastung staged a protest sit-in against the incident in Quetta, calling for action against militants, SAMAA reported.

A Quetta bound pilgrims bus, coming from Taftan area of Iran, caught fire after a powerful blast in Daringarh area of Mastung, leaving 25 persons dead and over 50 injured.

Banned militant outfit, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, claimed responsibility of the blast. It said that the blast was caused by a suicide bomber who rammed his explosives-laden vehicle with the bus.

Today, a large number of heirs of those killed in the blast placed dead bodies of their 15 beloved ones on road at Alamdar Chowk in Quetta and staged sit-in, calling for the arrest of culprits.
