Dubai Massive Fire Burns Luxury Hotel Building Near New Year

WATCH: Huge Fire Near Dubai NYE Fireworks Display: A massive fire has engulfed a luxury hotel near Dubai's New Year's Eve fireworks display.
The blaze has run up at least 20 stories of The Address Hotel near the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest skyscraper.

Burning debris was seen falling from the building as firefighters raced to the scene.

The Dubai government media office tweeted that a "fire has been reported in the Address Downtown hotel.

"Authorities are currently on-site to address the incident swiftly and safely."
